Tailrd LLC (“Tailrd”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a Wyoming limited liability company. We operate the Tailrd platform, an AI-powered resume tailoring service available at tailrd.com.

Information you provide directly:

• Account information — your email address and password when you create an account.
• Resume content — the text of your resume and any professional information you enter into the platform.
• Job descriptions — job postings you paste in to generate tailored outputs.
• Voice profile answers — writing style and tone preferences you provide to guide AI rewrites.
• Payment information — billing details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data — which features you use, pages you visit, and actions you take in the platform.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring URLs.
• Cookies — session cookies used to keep you logged in, and analytics cookies to understand usage patterns (see Cookies section below).

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Tailrd service.
• Process your resume content and job descriptions through our AI engine to generate tailored outputs.
• Process payments and manage your subscription or credits balance.
• Send you service-related communications — account confirmations, billing receipts, and important notices.
• Understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve it.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your resume content or personal information to train AI models.

We share data with the following service providers solely to operate and improve the platform. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We retain your account data and documents for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law — for example, billing records, which we retain for seven years for tax and accounting purposes.

You can delete individual documents (resumes, tailored versions, cover letters) at any time from within the platform.

All users have the right to:

• Access and download your documents from within the platform at any time.
• Correct your account information from your account settings.
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us.

EU / EEA users (GDPR) have additional rights, including:

• The right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• The right to restrict or object to certain processing activities.
• The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our legal bases for processing your personal data are: contract performance (to provide the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to improve the platform and prevent abuse), and legal obligation (to meet applicable laws).

California residents (CCPA) have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
• Request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
• Opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

Tailrd is available to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users between 13 and 17 must have parental or guardian consent to use the service.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at legal@tailrdresume.com and we will delete it promptly.

Tailrd is operated from the United States. If you access our service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

For transfers of personal data from the EU/EEA, we rely on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and other lawful transfer mechanisms to ensure your data receives appropriate protection.

We use two types of cookies:

• Essential cookies — session cookies that keep you logged in. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
• Analytics cookies — used by PostHog to understand how users interact with the platform. These are not yet active and will be disclosed when enabled.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the platform before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Tailrd after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
